I hate Solidworks updates

So Solidworks Downnload is where all your iso installs are saved.

And the rest is to be filled in during the installation I think.

Otherwise, in the worst case unplug your M drive before installation.

Really bizzard all that...
I have never entered any paths pointing to the M:\ disk

Anyway... I've had my dose of annoyance for today, I'll try to make up for the last two hours :-/

In any case, thank you very much @Bart and @remrem for answering me and guiding me in my problems:)

The SolidWorks Download folder is the default in my documents.

It contains the files you download during the installation. You can change the destination of these files during installation. For example, we share it so as not to download the same ^my files for each workstation.

It looks like you've migrated your  My Documents folder to Mr. I think that's why SolidWorks Download.

In any case, this explains the relationship between your network drive and SW.

Modification:

Yes, to disconnect it, that's what I meant by "Delete your network drive".

As far as the helping hand is concerned. It's without problems and even with paisir... We've all experienced this at some point. And then we're sure it's going to happen to us again. And then we will also be very happy with the help of lynkoa... ;-)

Haaa well yes, it's clearer now...

My company has purposely moved the My Documents file to the local drive of each workstation in order to avoid polluting the network or the C:\...

I'll see with them how we can change that!

For now, I'm going to work with the software in English, I just needed to improve my technical vocabulary =)

Of course! That's it Rem, you're right.

I just saw that you have a folder of my documents on your M drive

So you changed the Windows paths so that it would point there.

Good evening

The fact that you have switched to English since your worries would not come from the general options.

There are 2 options to uncheck if this is the case.

Kind regards

Hello @jmsavoyat,

No, in fact, I was able to restart Solidworks when the uninstall came to "Languages: French"

So, it uninstalled the French language pack...

When I look at my options, I see this suddenly: see image
