Hello

I can no longer edit or create a side in a sketch.

This morning Solidworks was working normally and at one point it lost the display of dimensions in sketch mode and since then I have been totally stuck.

Can you help me?

I'm on Solidworks 2018 sp3.

I made a video so you can see the problem.

My mouse is still with the quote icon but I can't see or change them.

By default it takes one side (no matter where it has no rule) and anywhere, wherever I click, it shows it to me.

I can do other actions like drawing a line, ... But I can't rate.

Have you ever tried a restart of the station, sometimes a simple restart is enough to fix the bug...

The first thing to test is:

- close Solidworks.

- restore settings

- restart Solidworks

Very often this is enough for small inconveniences of this type.

Yes, I have already restarted my PC and restarted Solidworks but nothing helps.

I no longer have my SW installation following a cleaning on my PC. So I can't do any more repairs. I'm biting my fingers.

 

What do you mean by restoring settings?

See here for a software repair... Have you also made a backup of your settings??

To save system settings, you just need to go to tool==>save/restore your settings and track what they say

It is also possible to reset the factory settings, see here, but be careful, if there has been no backup of the settings before then you will have to redo everything...

For the repair, you should be able to download the media from the SW website.

Hello

I had Visiativ last night about this.

The person tried everything you told me without success.

The problem was with the C++ files. Yesterday during the day I put microsoft office on my computer and this installation changed these files. The result is a reinstallation of SW and everything is back to normal.
