Hello
8 GB is not enough for using SolidWorks and your processor is not suitable.
- Enter the initial size value of 2 times the amount of physical RAM installed in your system (e.g., if you have 8 GB, type 16000 MB.).
- Enter a maximum size value that is the same as the original size.

Adding an SD card as ram is accepted by windows, after I never did the test with Solidworks. The lifespan of your SD card will not be very long I think

Can't add a little more RAM to your sticks?
Make sure you have enough disk space available.
The operating system needs enough disk space to store system files and temporary files. If you have enabled the SOLIDWORKS Automatic Backup option (recommended), note that it also uses disk space.
You should have at least 250 to 500 MB of available disk space on any local drive. If you use partitions, allocate a good portion of the disk space to the drive on which your operating system is installed.
Reduce graphical accuracy, aperture in light mode.....

Hello for having run a lot of time with a tower in 8GB of ram + win 7 we had to regularly close SW to purge the ram otherwise risk of saturation.
Now you're under Win10 so at least to be comfortable it's 16GB.
Note that a 2.6 GHz processor is light for SW, at least 3-3.5GHz.
Today for 500-800€ you have second-hand workstations (end of leasing of large companies) with Xeon at 3.5Ghz and 32GB Ram with quadro Serie M.
Example with dual core (price less than 2000€ but not confirmed)
For the dual core I'm going to post a request if it's useful or not on SW.
So it's unifying to talk about it here^^
Kind regards
Thank you all for your answers,
