I am building a pergola and I would like to model the bungee cord or the rope that is laced around a 30mm diameter tube and that passes through the eyelets (holes) of the stretched canvas. I can't generate the trajectory of the sketch that would allow me to make a sweep with a circle of diameter corresponding to my bungee cord.

You have to use the belt or chain function if all the tubes are in the same plane, otherwise you have to make a spline.
To make the spline, make a normal sketch that follows the desired path and then make the spline by snapping it on top of the normal sketch. Then a classic sweep that uses the spline as a curve guides.
