The Toolbox Symbol in the FeatureManager - SolidWorks

Can we reappropriate the ToolBox symbol that we have in the creation   tree for pieces of a personal library that we realize for ourselves?

I know that the image is recoverable in the Solidworks folders.

Make pero icons with macro button style, ok. Afterwards, I dry^^

I had an opposite effect where the toolbox icon appeared for my parts. and in reality it's because my file had gone to toolbox.

So yes it's possible, but how?

I think it's a source of problem rather than anything else...

Maybe not a problem if you have only one computer using this personal toolbox, but with a network it has the same problem as when you use toolbox on a computer and open the file on another computer

Hello

I think it's possible with the utility that is usually used for the opposite: remove the symbol!

  • Go to the Toolbox's SolidWorks directory (default C:\Program Files\SolidWorks Corp\SolidWorks\Toolbox\data utilities)
  • Launch the utility sldsetdocprop.exe
  • Add the files to it and choose "Yes" for "Property Status"

Edit: I just created a tutorial: http://www.lynkoa.com/tutos/3d/convertir-une-piece-de-toolbox-en-piece-standard-et-vice-versa
