Can the Xml files used by SmartProperties handle text written on multiple lines?

Hello

We now use Smart Properties a lot to automatically fill in our plan NOTES via texts previously saved via Xml files. Some of our pre-filled data is long sentences. Is it possible to "wrap up" in order to avoid having to split our sentences into 2 or 3 drop-down menu choices to select in a row?

Thanks in advance,

Hello

You can use the § character, it will be replaced by a newline at validation

One of the advantages of XML is that it is based on tags to interpret the code. So (to be tested), it should keep a possible line break.

By the way, I sometimes copy texts (which includes an untimely skip at the end of the text) in the SW properties and it is taken into account.

Otherwise, you may have to play with the nuance in line breaks and paragraph breaks (in terms of ASCII code). A bit like in Excel, you Alt-Enter to insert a line break in a cell.

Hello

Links to other XML files are not made for that in my opinion and not possible to my knowledge to go to the line because they are not made to be made up of long sentences.

Why not use an option property with a simple text property for each sentence that allows you to add a separator to go to the line.

Cf smartproperties help:

When entering the text of a property, if you want to fill in a text on several lines, you must use the character "§" to tell the program to skip a line.
