Hello
I'm going to have to upgrade (OS cloning + SSD installation) two PCs within my company. I wanted to know if there would be any impact on the license (often attached to the hardware on many applications).
Yours sincerely.

Hello
As for SolidWorks or other 3d software, it is better to deactivate the license(s) before cloning.
For the Office Pack I don't think you can deactivate or give it a license number after cloning, without doing a new installation with a different number. In this case you will have 2x the same license. (So to be avoided in companies;) )
Have a nice day
Thank you for the answer! I'm going to do it, you can never be too careful. Have a good end of the day.
Hello
First of all, you need to know how licenses are managed in your company, whether they are local or on a license server.
In any case, what @FUZ3D says is true, it avoids unpleasant surprises.
For Office, it depends if it's from the OEM or not.
A simple uninstallation on the old workstation may be enough (remember to have the product key before any manipulation).
Hello
I was only talking about the license of solidwork 2017 installed locally. My question may have been wrong.
