Cutting line

Hello, I expect a negative answer but you never know.
Is it possible to automatically set the color of the cut lines and detail view circle of a color without affecting the entire color of the cut?

Today the manipulation is to select the cut line and then modify the layer.
It can be long and repetitive...
Thank you

Hello

Yes and No: Today it is possible to assign a default layer to the derived view in the document properties, but the document properties do not distinguish between the derived view definition elements and the hatching.
→ it's all or nothing in short.

I have the same need, and I plan to make an improvement request to the publisher. I will forward its link when it is drafted so that you can support it.

Hello

Maybe macro specialists can do something.

What is certain is that if it is possible, it will be done before a native integration.

Hello ronathan,
Just to add precision, it is also possible to go through layers with the adjustment with the desired color and line type display options, be careful the colors correspond to the thickness of the line and the type of line when printed under Autocad. All this is to be set up in your MEP SW model.

Hello
Which version of SW?
In the document properties you just have to apply a layer (red color in this case) at the level of the options for sections and detail view.

The cut line and IDs as well as the circle and detail view ID will change to red.
On the other hand, it does not affect the cuts and detail views already generated; It must be able to be corrected by macro

Unfortunately if it affects the cuts generated. I changed the layer as on in the properties and it gives me the result visible on my second screenshot.

And reload the basemap, either?

The properties are linked to the drawing template and not to the basemap so it won't be useful I think.

So maybe make a new MEP model with the options you want... I have SW 2022 SP4, I solved this problem as well.
To see, good luck, @+.

I don't have this behavior on 2023 SP5.
The hatching is on one layer and the lines of the cut are on another.

@Cyril.f

Can you tell me how you managed to get this behavior please ?
In 2024 SP2, I still don't have the option to assign one layer for the cut line and labels, and another for hatching...

I don't have the exact method anymore but basically you have to open an empty drawing document.
Open the hatch tool and set up the layer and save the doc template as well.
By default in SW models, it is set to -none- like the other entities, so it probably follows the note setting.

Sorry but I don't see how it's possible. When I launch the hatch tool I can select a layer but if I don't fill anything it doesn't validate that layer and when I restart the tool, the layer goes back to none.
And in the settings of the drawing model, the layer is reflected well on the line, the hatching, and on the note of the view.
