In our design office we work a lot with "PART" together composed of several bodies (welded parts).
On one piece, I had to make two configurations. During drawing, we insert the parts of the welded parts list to make the detail of it.
However, one part (detail) is not in the right configuration. Is there a way to change the configuration of this detail part without having to reinsert it and redo the drawing?
I don't know if it's clear because this method is a bit special at first.
No, I'm not in assembly, I'm on a part with several bodies that I put in the list of welded parts (Normal since it's a welded assembly). These pieces from this list I insert them in a new room (see function provided for this purpose) and then put them in detail plan.
If the part is not in the correct configuration in the assembly, simply change it, then do a CTRL Q to rebuild the drawing. If the nomencalture is not up to date, it must be deleted and reinserted.
So to change a configuration of a view, you have to right-click on the view, then in the properties, choose the right configuration. To be done on all views!
See this link:
Configuration information.
Select the desired option:
Use the template configuration that is in use or the last saved one. Uses the active configuration of the open room or the saved configuration of the closed room.
Use the named configuration. Uses a configuration that you created earlier. For parent views (such as named views or the 3 standard views), select Use Named Configuration and, optionally, one of the view states in this configuration.
