LIST OF WELDED PARTS IN AN ASSEMBLY

Hello

I want to create a bill of materials of "parts only" with "detailed list of welded parts" directly in an assembly but it seems impossible...

Is there a solution???

Thanks in advance

David

Good evening

I make bills of materials of welded parts from a PRT file.

The welded part nomenclature can then be exported to a  plan.

Since an assembly it doesn't seem to me that this is possible with SW 2017.

If so, I'm interested in knowing the trick

Hello

Thank you for your answer.

Indeed, in a PRT, the tabbed list with the detailed list of welded parts option shows all the welded components directly. This option also works in an ASM but does not give the right quantities of components. Hence the search for a solution for a BOM part only but with the detailed list of welded parts option.

Hello

Sorry for the late reply

It works from home, the quantity is good

The first quantity is sheet metal.

the welded parts after.

Here is the bom assembly

Here is the construction of my part with welded parts lists

We should not focus on "parts only"
You have to make a nomenclature with this parameter:

Then, click on the BOM and expand the side panel:

We can then choose whether or not to develop the parts of a part:

If you want to see the mechanically welded components of the part and not the part, you have to right-click on the line of the part and choose "hide select":

If you have made a mistake, choose "show row/column" and click on the row to be re-displayed.
