3D design "software" in . IGS for laser cut pipe cutters

Hello

We design a lot of mechanically welded frames (mainly square tubes, angle irons, with welded sheets on them, etc.) and have recently bought a laser cut tube cutter. After research, we realize that we can cut tubes so that we can then bend them and weld them to create arches.
The problem is that this makes us create chassis > combine the 3 pieces of the arch > save each arch in a separate file (insert into a new room) > split the arch (split the bodies) > unfold the ark (move the bodies) > Remerge the pieces of the ark.

Only from that we can create a . IGS can be used by the laser tube cutter.
This represents time and technique, which we would like to limit as much as possible.

Is there a method, a software, a SolidWorks extension that simplifies this task?

I heard that it was possible to send the complete mechanically welded frame, and that the "software" managed to prepare all the tube flows to be cut, and created them in . IGS.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Kind regards

Etienne

Hello
ac_cobra_427's tutorials are perfect for this kind of problem!

Hello and welcome,
Have you asked the supplier of your tube laser machine?
When I order frames or other mechanically welded structures, the subcontractor manages with the assembly. So he must have a specific software to extract each "piece". So maybe there is a function that allows you to make the cuts and leave one side to fold the whole. I know that this is practiced.
Otherwise see the tutorials of @ac_cobra_427
