@+ ;-)
I had a similar problem with my logo but not that of one of my customers.
I noticed that I reduce my logo to put it in the cartridge and that the customer's logo I leave it as it is.
So I reduced my logo via a phototruc software and since then it has passed.
Maybe a max resolution for draft that blocks?
Weird indeed,
I think of something or a track, the image on the plans or it works was inserted in the same way?
There are several ways to insert the image
- Copy/paste from a Paint graphics tool ...
- Image Insertion
- Insert object (from the file, with the Link option checked or not...)
There is bound to be a difference in this image
I used the same SolidWorks document template.
Moreover it works on 3 PCs but not mine !!!
I have a solution!!
You steal the pc of one of your colleagues and you give him yours
--- okay I'm going out---
@Benoit,
I don't want to take the "*sldreg" of my colleagues, it's not optimized.....
@SEPM: I'm going to end up printing a colleague's PC to do my DWGs, but I'd like to find out why it doesn't work!!!
Hello
Another idea: look at the 2 workstations if by default in Windows, it's the same software that opens the BMPs.
S.B
@s.b. it's not crazy, since I use Photoshop Element I have less worries about my images.
@flegendre: if you insert your image directly into draft, when you reopen the file it appears or not?
Does your cartridge have blocks in it?
I made blocks to follow this or that customer to have his logo, his address etc that I made appear or not, but I gave up and preferred to make background plans for each customer without a block.
Maybe you have to go through this to be sure that the image stays in the cartridge.
Something else Is your white square of the image in the same place as your image on your slw cartridge?
If it's off, your image is not recognized by your software and the reference point is not seen (well I don't know if we say it like that but basically it doesn't know where the image starts)
"I don't want to take my colleagues' "*sldreg", it's not optimized..... "
Then try initializing the registry key! By making a backup of course!
PS: you didn't manage to get them to change the settings? Haven't you used all your persuasion skills yet? ;-)
And no@Benoit I haven't succeeded yet......................... And it's going to be difficult I think !!!!
Oh you've seen worse anyway!!
But I'll try the registry key anyway!
To come back to the sldreg (you know that I don't let go of my ideas easily...) you can make a backup of your settings and try those of one of your colleagues.
If it works you will have to dig where it comes from or redo your configuration on this basis,
If it doesn't work, you put your settings back without pain!
I called the Hotline,
it's not a SolidWorks problem but Windows.
an OLE link problem not working!!!
But hey, I'm not more advanced....
This confirms a little the track announced above.
Sets the opening of BMPs to paint.
You go to a BMP file, right-click, Open With, and you select Paint.
S.B
@s.b.,
That's what I did.
The problem persists...
You can always try a different image opening program.
You never know.
S.B
I've already tried @s.b, it doesn't change the problem.
I still haven't found the solution. I have to see with the computer scientist if he can update the Windows Service Pack for me.
I close the question.
Formatting is necessary!!!
