Hello everyone,
In the company where I work, we have just acquired the "Production Designer" software from AMADA.
In this thing, when you export a DXF developed for the laser (which is not an AMADA), you can't choose the color of the contour lines, nor to export or not the bend lines (mind-blowing, but hey, that's how it is)
So the export is done in black line, and when opening on Autocad, black lines on a black background, you don't see anything. I have to select everything blind and change the color of the lines....
You will tell me why not switch to a white background? First of all I find it less relaxing for the eyes and then for all our other shots, the white background would not be suitable (we wouldn't see much of it). We would therefore be forced to juggle between different funds... on hundreds of parts!. It would also cause problems on the nesting software
Hence my question, is there a way for the very average Autocad user that I am, to have a marco that would do:
-Opening the DXF
-Selection of all geometry
-Passage in white line
-Registering and closing the DXF
That's for a whole file
Or any other quick and easy way to deal with these files?
We are on Autocad 2009 LT (yes I know it's not the latest version :-))
Kind regards
Hubert
