No macro for me who does this, but if you want with the Mycad and Integration tools you can perform this type of automated task very simply.
For example, you can apply a task to a folder or assembly select from SW, for example export all sheet metal parts in dxf.
Hello
Not yet done with this type of part selection but look HERE if the program provided can help you.
Kind regards
Hello, the little awesome app!!! It would be perfect if we could also choose a PDF export.
A big thank you
Hello
What type of PDF export are you missing? if it's the one of the display of the 3D part as it is presented on the screen then I can do this to you quickly if not too much time at the moment...
Kind regards
Example of how to display a PDF:
Also possible quickly: 1 PDF file of each of the standard views (Front, Right, Left, Top, Bottom and Back) for each configuration of each 3D part.
Be careful, it can start to make a certain number of files.
Kind regards
Hi Roger,
Just for the record, the software worked on several exports and then nothing!! it tells me that the task is done but nothing in the target folder and nothing opens in SW.
Regarding the ++ option of your software , it is a question of exporting the flattening of the sheet metal file and option +++ would be to recover the material thickness (either in the file name or sorted in different directories.
Can you help me?
@ Roger, I made a CClenear it works again.
Hello
I modified the program to add the pdfs of the front, right, left, top, bottom and back views for each configuration of each 3D part. For the moment that's about all I'll be able to do (lack of time).
Can you send me some examples of 3D files of your sheet metal parts (if in the 2017 version of SW and by private message if you don't want to distribute them on the forum) so that I can look at what I could do (later) for the other option.
The "Cancel" button allows you to cancel the operation once the file being processed is complete.
Do some tests on a limited number of files to start...
Kind regards
Hi Roger,
Thank you very much for the work.
2 things:
- Windows security detects your file as corrupted
- I'm on SW 2019, but I can provide you with an STP.
Tuonoman
It's a program that doesn't have a digital signature, it's up to you to see if you put it in exclusion on the antivirus... I know it's a false detection!
OK for the step.
Kind regards
OK I'm sending you this, last small problem some of my files are just designed on simple modeling function (no sheet metal function) but it is a sheet metal part. (without folding) would it be possible to just recover the front view for example.
Thanks again
