Macro export unfolded dxf BIS

Do you want to change the room family with the macro?

Personally, I wouldn't do it because it's too long for the benefit made, the family of parts is simple, takes only a short time to modify.

@Bart: In SW: You can outsource the file of the family of parts (with a link). See attachment.

Will that suit you?

Either in the part family or in the macro, if it's just a formula determined by different fields, it's possible to do it in the macro! After that, I admit that I didn't put my nose in all the files!

As said above, I'm not going to get into that...

Since you were in it, I thought it wouldn't take you much time!

What's the formula?

Edit: wooooowowowow! We exceeded 100 responses :-p

Lucas, it's not just about formulas!!

[Edit: ] Anyway, since we don't know exactly what Bart wants, it's complicated to make a code or any other modifications!

[Edit_2: ] There will always be a user input part. So the macro can't do everything.

Like I said, I didn't put my nose in it!

And you wrote:

"The 0 and 1 are put on by themselves thanks to a formula. The rest is just a copy... "

Kill yourself but don't fight!

My question seemed clear to me. But in writing, it's always tricky...

I will go into more detail.

- I have an excel file. It has several leaves.

- A sheet where I fill in the customer's order

- A sheet with my room family

- And a sheet with my debit list.

On sheet 1, there is the basic information. (T1 1650 wing to 50, wing b 80, hole diameter 8 etc etc.....)

On sheet 2, in automatic mode, the part family fills in compared to sheet 1 (hence the problem if I end up with double lines followed by FLAT PATTERN).

On sheet 3, still in automatic, the debit list is filled.

Sheet 1 is only used to drive the other 2 sheets

Sheet 2 I import as a part family in my model

Sheet 3 I export it in Csv to import it into my debit software.

So if I summarize, when the customer sends his order, I type the list of his parts with their parameters, so that I can take out all the dxf of the parts by importing sheet 2 das Sw, to then take sheet 3 to output my throughput optimization.

After all, I may not have the right way of working, but that's what seemed most practical to me.

If you have another idea, I'm all for it.

What's good about this macro and excel is that at any time, I can check the quantity of parts etc...

There you go! =)

Otherwise above 100 answers, what do we gain?! :p

@Bart:

It's much clearer once you've told  us everything! ;-)

I think you have to work upstream of SW, i.e. in your binder.

Can you send a binder with the three sheets? The archive contains only the family of parts. Without explanations I didn't understand.

We still had to wait for the 106th message for @Bart to explain what he wanted ! :-p

However, we can't say that he' s not a regular at Lynkoa (or help forums in general), or for one question out of 3 we ask exactly what the person wants!

No offense of course, it's a joke!

Oh hey!!! =)

"To sum up, I have an Excel file that is the customer's order on one side, and a parameterized Solidworks file on the other."

I thought it was clear, in fact I wasn't^^

Sorry guys.... But at least you broke a record! ^^

And it's not over! :p I'm attaching the excel tonight, I will admit that I started with the family of parts.

I have an excel for my flows, I just have to make the relationship between the 3 sheets to fill only one.

@Bart: admit that you just wanted to see how much message you can go up to:D

I cowardly abandoned you, but you went beyond my abilities there. That said, it's interesting to read

I didn't give up guys!

Just a little too much work to take care of that.

I'm doing this tonight or this weekend;)

I thought you had lost your Excel workbook. :-)

No, as I told you, I started by creating the hardest part.

Then I just have to make links between the sheets so that when I fill one, the others fill up too, including the family of parts.
