Macro to load data into a 2D plane

Hi everyone!

I'm working on the modeling of a building under Catia V5, and here is my problem:

Each device placed in the model receives attributes (entered manually), the local style in which it is located, instance name, etc.

All these attributes can be found in the nomenclature (in Assembly Design), and I would like to know if it is possible to transfer them directly to a 2D plan of the building. Ideally, they should be labels to be placed next to the equipment, but that's just a bonus.

If any of you have a method or macro to achieve this result, that would be great!

Thank you in advance for your help!

Hello:

If your attributes are visible in the assembly BOM, they can be visible in the 2D BOM table.

Tab: Analysis / BOM / Component List / Component List Properties.

Choose what you want to see in the table by moving the attribute from hidden to displayed.

"The ideal would be to make labels to be placed next to the equipment."

Any attached text or 2D text box can be linked with a link to an attribute of the 3D.

We right-click on the (green) frame of the text box "link to an attribute" then by window we will point to the element that contains the attribute we want to link (selection in the drop-down list that opens).
