I would like to know if it is possible to run a macro in Solidworks as a result of a transition in PDM. To be clearer, I now have a macro that I run in Soliworks to create a revision table in my plan (I want to specify that I didn't develop this macro because I unfortunately don't know anything about it...) So I would like my macro to run at the time of the transition, through a task, so that my array comes to fit into my plan. That way, when I make a transition with revise, my table is created, and when I make a transition without revising, my plan remains blank.
The creation of an EPDM "spot" seems to be adapted to the problem.
The language of the EPDM task appears to be the same as that of macros.
Following its configuration, the task can be launched manually (via a right click) or automatically in the workflow.
We manage our pdf printouts via a task when approving plans (creation of a pdf in the EDPM vault and another accessible to the whole company on a network path).
Other tasks are used to do stp, igs.... on demand (the interest is to be able to select several files and that everything is done automatically in the background on the users' PCs: it's much faster and you don't have any surprises on the names of the generated files since it's an immutable rule that applies (but it is configurable if you want to rename manually))
