Hello
I'm trying to reinstall SW2014 Premium features on a Win7 SP1. The installation manager tells me that it cannot launch the application because it would have detected that the machine is under Windows Vista !! (see attached message). Where is the confusion? If anyone had an idea, thank you in advance,

Good evening
yes, indeed, the compatibility mode was on "VISTA". I selected "WIN7" and now the installation manager tells me that it can't install under "Win7 SP0" and that it needs SP1. The machine is in WIN7 SP1 !! ... Where is the next subtlety?
Thanks in advance,
Hello
Is your PC 32 or 64 bit?
Are you an administrator or not in your position?
It looks like http://www.lynkoa.com/forum/solidworks/installation-sw-avec-systeme-windows-7-sp1-32bit.
Kind regards

Good evening
I'm coming back a little late on my 2014 SP5 update PB. I followed the link you gave me. Marc Branger's recommendation means that now my installation no longer refuses me the story of the Win 7 SP1 that he only sees in SP0. Now I have the installation manager window that opens but it remains empty!!
If you still had some ideas, I'm all for it.
Thanks in advance,
Hello
So it looks like the problem we find here, it's for SW2018 but to check if the solution already worked for SW2014. Either way, the question is "Where did the installation files come from?"
Kind regards

Thanks for the help, it works!
The PB of origin of the files is indeed the cause. the procedure works on SW 2014.
