Manipulating a part in an assembly with a 3D mouse?

Hello

Is there a way to manipulate a part in an assembly with the 3D mouse and display the assembly with the normal mouse?

My goal is to check that I can pass a part in my assembly to its place.

Uses the "Move Selected Objects" option as visible on the attachment.
