Within our BE, we recently switched to SW2020 and a shortcut that was good for me on 2019 doesn't really seem to work anymore: when adding constraints in an assembly, it is a question of temporarily hiding faces by pressing alt. (See Selected Keyboard Shortcuts - 2020 - SOLIDWORKS Help) I have already tried to repair the installation of SW2020, but nothing can be done, the problem remains.
Hello Nothing seen at the SP level that could indicate that there was a bug on the 2020. So to check in the settings. With an assembly open, click on options → Customize then keyboard tab and check if the setting is ok
Maybe an issue with uninstalling. You would have to take a look in the registry otherwise start SW in safe mode (it starts with a basic conf without customization). If the problem is no longer there, it's probably because it's a conflict in the registry (the SW uninstaller is quite bad at this level at purging the keys in the registry).
If you have access to the registry, you must delete the Solidworks key folder in the user profile Clearing the SOLIDWORKS Registry Key - YouTube If necessary, rename it to Solidworks-Old to keep it under wraps just in case.
I encountered a similar issue when switching to Solidworks 2022. This was resolved by disabling the " Graphical Enhancements" in the " Performance " settings.
But before that, check the driver of your Vs Solidworks graphics card
