3D Printing Material

Hello
Do you have a library of the main 3D printing materials to run a simulation?

Thank you in advance.
Have a nice day

Hello, here is a test of generation of custom materials by gpt4 and the .sldmat file for a personal bib

FDM_Custom_Materials.7z (577 bytes)
I haven't tested this file yet

Hello
The sldmat file does not work.
The data in the table does not match the data for SolidWorks materials.

Hello;

@remrem , have you tried to upload the plastic materials database to 3D ContentCentral?
https://help.solidworks.com/2020/french/WhatsNew/c_material_3dcontentcentral.htm
or more directly:
https://www.3dcontentcentral.com/plastics/download-plastic.aspx?id=994541
… Note: I don't work in 3D printing, so I haven't tested the material library mentioned above...

I had also seen this article from SW Help.
On the other hand, I couldn't find any materials in the research. An example here.

However, when you click on " Download SOLIDWORKS Plastics Material data ", the downloaded file has an extension .bin which does not correspond to a SW! :weary:

In fact, if I understand the description correctly, it should not read " SOLIDWORKS: Plastics Material data " but " SOLIDWORKS Plastics: Material data "

Description: * Required Version: SOLIDWORKS Plastics 2019 SP3 and later

That's right, all that's left to do is try to convert the *.bin file to *.sldmat... But this type of converter does not seem to be common.
