I can't understand why the cleat in the curved parts is positioned inside? I touched a little bit of all the parameters but without success.

A priori I would say that it is the distance constraint that is the problem.

I notice that the vertex of the blue part is on the construction line related to the distance constraint. I think that in order for the part to follow the curve while respecting the distance, sw must invert the " normal ". The top of the blue part acting as a pivot.

Put your cart back on a straight part and try to set the distance to the deleted state and move your cart by hand to see how it behaves in the bend.
