Hello
how to explain the disappearance of the command: Insert /new column & open part in the right-click menu on an assembly BOM in SW2023?
No worries for me in 2023 SP05:
It's installed on several PCs and you don't have it on all of them. How can he be made to appear if he is not there?
Right-click and customize the menu:
Then you check the desired options (if well proposed):
already tried. It is a brand new facility. It's part of the basics of the software this kind of thing. Really nothing in the menus. I feel like I've tried everything on the main interface. Nothing found in the properties. Fortunately I have models of past nomenclatures that I tinker. On the other hand, I did " delete column " of course. But adding... NaN!! ^^’
It's like right-clicking on a line to " open the room "... well no!! To bang your head against the keyboard this kind of thing. I " opened the plan " and that's all.
Isn't it related to excel by chance?
Is excel well installed on these stations?
If yes, try to reset the base Sw profile.
To do this, open solidworks RX and click on the link (temporarily reset SW for 1 session)
If it works with the factory profile, it's because it comes from the user profile.
Otherwise try to import a profile from a functional position. (after saving the current profile)
Have you installed SolidWorks utilities in the add-ons at startup, you never know?
Thank you for these tips. To be checked.
For excel, indeed, there are problems. I was thinking of using the links with excel table to make my job easier on 100 plans, and there are bugs...
I didn't get out of the asparagus with this story!
Otherwise, you still have to make a request for assistance. That's what they're there for.
Give us feedback if the problem is solved, which I have no doubt about.
