Hi all
I would like to set SW so that my wireframe and especially wireframe views are in room color (the color used on the 3D)
I can't get a conclusive result
Attached is an example of what I want

Hello
It is possible to use "component line font" + "layer" via right-click on the component,
Mmm, I just discovered a simpler method, option >property of the document > wrapping > use the color of the model for LCS/LCA in drawings (method that I find less flexible since it is applicable at the document level, but with the advantage of drawing the colors of the 3D model).
Hello Lynk,
Thank you for the answer. I had indeed seen this option in the document wrap. The only flaw I find is that if I do a cross-sectional view, my hatching remains black:(
A Tip for this?
Thank you
Weird, at home in SW18 it works perfectly,

I just did some tests, you have to leave the layer "according to the standard".
See attached image
I have the colored wireframe outlines corresponding to the room.
but not the hatching, which remains black. even with the layer according to the standard
Any idea?
So indeed when I open your drawing and your piece and I make a cut, the hatching is part color.
When I integrate your piece into my plan template, the hatching is indeed room color. If on this same plane I integrate a piece of my own, the hatching is black.
So I would tend to say that the adjustment comes from the properties of the 3D model. I have compared your properties with mine and I see absolutely no noticeable difference.
Even using my 3D tone dressing standard, it doesn't change the color of the hatching.
I don't know which path to take there...
I think I know the cause of this strange behavior, indeed this test part comes from a solidworks library, more precisely that of shape tools (!), and I didn't realize because I always believed that the extension of these tools were only "sldftp" but it seems that even "sldprt" are part of this Category , and above all the tree structure of the part is devoid of any library index or the stamping tool, (so I apologize),
it's pure chance, but can serve your interests, by creating a document template based on this type of file you will benefit from this hatching color feature, (personally, I will only use it if I plan to print the colors via the document, it's a "sldprt" but special, better be careful),
It's noted, thank you. Indeed I remade my piece model based on your file, it will work for my next creations like this.
