Error message on Draftsight

Hello

I've had a problem on draftsight for some time, every time I launch it, I get an error message that appears (see pj), I can reinstall the software (with a stroke of cc cleaner so that it's clean), but it doesn't want to know anything, the workstation is in admin mode with the UAC disabled (I'm on windows 7 64 with the Windows update done).

before reinstalling you uninstalled? CCleaner on the registry but did you delete the draft folder or at least delete the contents

Because this is your noname base file that is corrupted

Have you installed anything recently? a driver or other?

 

Or have you added a device to your network?

 

I had this kind of mistake, I searched for a year! In the end, it was old drivers that disrupted the operation of Draftsight

Of course  Gerlard, I uninstalled the software, then passed the ccleaner.

I even tried to reinstall it under program files (X86) (which is not its default folder during the install), but still the same, I of course also deleted the folder once the uninstall.

It's difficult to get the information bart, it's a user workstation where I intervene remotely.

In any case, the problem comes from the workstation, because on mine, no problem, and on the workstation in question where there is the problem, I connected with an admin session, and I have the same error.

What I don't understand is how can the base file be  corrupted after a new installation?

Still the same problem?

Open the Nvidia Control Panel. Start>Control Panel>Nvidia Control Panel.

 

  • Select '3D Settings from the left column and select the 'Global Settings' from the right column 
  • Under 'Global Presets' choose Dassault Systems CATIA - Compatable 
  • Under 'Preferred Graphics Processor' choose 'High Performance NVIDIA Processor' 
  • Click 'Apply' 
  • Click the 'Program Settings' tab 
  • Next to 'Select a Program to Customize' click 'Add' 
  • Enter the path to the DraftSight.exe. (ie. C:\Program Files (x86)\Dassault Systèmes\DraftSight\bin\DraftSight.exe) 
  • Under 'Select the Preferred Graphics Processor' choose 'High Performance NVIDIA Processor' 
  • Click 'Apply'
