Hello
If a save as doesn't do anything either, you can try to find the temporary file or the backup copy (which are hidden with a filename in $...) in WIndows, make a copy of it by modifying the extension and try to open it.
But sometimes it happened to me that I couldn't record at all and had to start again!
Edit: I was talking about a local record
Try to save the piece locally on your computer.
It happens to me when I'm working on a part that's on the server and it crashes for a few seconds. It cuts the link with the part so I have to save as (usually on my desktop) and I copy it to the desired folder.
As Lucas says, it has also happened to me that I can't record. However, without finding either the cause or the solution.
Good luck.
Keep us informed.
Like @flegendre and @Bart, and if that's not enough, also by changing the name slightly when saving on the desktop.
Well, after trying everything:
Change the file name.
change the access of the file, local or network.
See if there was a file of suavegarde, of course there wasn't one
NOTHING helped, so I restarted solidworks losing what I had done.
THANK YOU ANYWAY!!!!!!
I closed my file without saving and start all my work from the beginning !!!!
