Hi all
For the sake of ease of reading for the operators, I will need to put my dimensions in different colors. I managed to change the color of all the sides but I would like one to be blue, the other red...
Is this possible? If so, how can I do it?
Thank you!
Hello, do you want to change the color on plans that you would print, or do you want the sides to be color only in the drawing?
If it is for operators, it must be proposal 1. In this case, simply create one layer per desired color and associate the dimensions with the desired color layer.

Hello Gautik67
Can you tell us how you do it!
(( just create a layer for each desired color and associate the dimensions with the layer of the desired color. ))
It's mostly how you associate the rating with the color that bothers me :-)
For example, you have the four layers, how can you say that such and such a dimension belongs to N°2 or N°4?
I guess you have to have this done by hand and put this odds on the 2 and another on the four.
So what about the modus operandi :-)
Kind regards
Hi everyone!
Gautik67, I agree with Zozo_mp, the method interests me because I don't master tracing at all! but happy to see that it's possible
That's it, I found it, it's great, it's exactly what I wanted to do!
Just create different layers and assign a different color to them, and then click Okay.
Example:
I called one layer "red" and another "blue".
Then I right-click on the dimension > edit layer > and then select the red layer
I do the same thing for my other side, which will be blue:)
I don't know if I was clear ^^'

So it's a very simple and very clear manual method @celibraka :)
With the standard in the DOTDRW you can manage the administration of the layers in auto...
But only one type of entity to one type of layers.
And of course, the default (when nothing is selected) in a MEP window, for the layer toolbar must be set to: According to the standard ...
