I work from DWG files that I open from a new room. Once the part has been made in SLDPRT, is it possible to update it according to the evolution of my DWG file?
No, it seems to me that it is not possible.
What is the point of making a 2D file (dwg) "master"?
Personally I would make the 3D master (and therefore its drawing) and then I would automate (via a BAtchConverter utility) the dwg.
In general, it's the other way around, 3D drives 2D.
Is there a particular reason to do this?
Totally agree with @Flegendre
manage a 3D via a master 2D?
the opposite is + understandable from my point of view and can be automated

Hello
As said before, 3D drives 2D.
After that, it may be possible to link certain 2D dimensions to an Excel, then link this Excel to the 3D to vary the dimensions.
Honestly, it's a hack solution that, I think, is not particularly worth a new design and therefore a new base.
Hi all
This is quite easily doable:
1: Insert the dwg in bulk with the file-related checkbox checked
2: Create 3D on the frame sketch
3: Modify the DWG (AutoCAD or Draftsight)
4: Save DWG
5: ctrl+q to update the 3d in SW
Good test

Edit: FYI this is very useful when you are working on top of an architect's DWG that is going to be regularly modified...
