Scaling of construction plans

Hello

I'm brand new to the Forum and CATIA.

Here is my problem:

I usually work on Inventor and I used to have all the construction plans (original and the ones we build) automatically resize according to the size of the sketch or the 3D. This feature comes in handy when there are plenty of them. They are therefore more visible. Do you know if it is possible to do the same with the Catia plans.

I don't think we can resize the plans on Catia.

Not to my knowledge.

Hello:

To increase the scale of the plane go to: Tools > Options > Infrastructure > Part Infrastructure > Display tab

Under "Display in geometry area" sub category in the display tab, increase the scale of the "axis system display size (in mm)" and this will increase the size of your plane.

Thank you .PL. It is really usefull. But do you know if it is possible for the plans to adjust automaticly there size regarding the size of what you are drawing?

So I will not have to adjust the size of the plan for each part.

Hello better late than never.

This is a novelty that arrived in V5-6R2013 or 2014 (not present in V5-6R2012 and earlier).

Infinite resize elements (manual not automatic).

Hello Frank,

I just saw if I saw your tool.

Apparently, with a v5r21 version, I don't see the tool.

Is this normal?

I don't know the date of my version. Is there a way to know it?
