We want to update our Solidworks 2021 licenses to 2023 as well as the license management on the server.
Is the 2021 license manager compatible with Solidworks 2023? if not, could you tell me where I can find the file to download to install Solidnetworks license manager?

The license manager must be newer than the installed SW versions.
To do this type of migration well, I advise you to follow these steps:
1 - ALL licenses must be returned (all SWs closed, all imprinted licenses returned)
2 - License Server Shutdown
3 - Transfer Server Licenses
4 - Uninstall the license server
5 - install the new one: launch the install of SW on your server and choose "server installation"
6 - Retrieve licenses
7 - Restarting the license server
8 - update the SWs on the workstations.
If you have to have a period of time between point 7 and 8, no worries. Your SWs in 2021 will work with the server in 2023 (but the opposite is impossible).

→ Save your settings and settings to external files (*.sldreg).

For a gap from 2021 to 2023, I will do a big vacuum cleaning of everything that contains "Solidworks", both at the directory level and at the level of the Registry(s)...
Also beware of third-party tools (Axemble, PMI / ERP, personal tools...)
