Hello, I reiterate a question from 2014 with the answer "Not doable": (I am on Solidworks 2016)
Hello
I would like, in my drawing of a welded part, to have on my first sheet my set and then to have a sheet for each volumetric body. However, I would like to have in my cartridge the information of the body and not of the whole. How to do it?
Thank you.
Hello
Can you post your room with your MEP so we can take a look at it; Because it all depends on how you fill in your information in your 3D.

I think the best solution is to make configurations of each room so that you can fill in your configuration-specific properties, these will take over the custom properties.

it's "Doable" (also in SW2014-2012-2010...) but bypassing the "background of the plan" a little...
The trick is to create a basemap with the areas in the empty cartouche (or manage with an on/off layer)
On page 1, we have a classic basemap, which fills the cartouche with respect to the PRT.
We put a "Const.Soudée" table on it (I prefer to put it)
Then, on page 2, we put a view with a single body, we link the view to the table.
Then we put a bubble on the body, instead of displaying the number, we choose custom property: in it we choose the "const.welded designation"
Add more bubbles, if you need to get other info.
Then we put an annotation "on sheet 2" that we position in a desired area in the cartridge, and when entering the text, we click on the desired bubble (example: welded const. designation)
Then we format the font.
"May the dark side be with you... (even those who prefer strength)... "
Remark:
Before solidworks made the difference in its menus between prt-asm properties and that of welded construction, since 2016 or so, it is "almost mixed" and has become illegible...
Bad point for SolidWorks on this regression of its interface!

Hello Olivier 42
That's high-flying SW.
It seems as simple as a magic trick with cards. (if you don't have the right cards) There are two red cards and one black card, I shuffle them on the table and tell me where the black one is.
Kind regards

Well!!!! I have nothing to do with it (not banging my head NOoooooonnnn )
@ Ac Cobra For me the best answer is yours which seems simple for those who know how to manage the configuration and @ Olivier 42 which seems to have a lot of advantage but which requires a deep knowledge of SW.
I don't know who assigns the best answers, I guess it's the original requester

Oops, I was obsessed with your answer so I was wrong.
My sincerest apologies.

I just thought about it because if someone has the same problem and they come across this answer, they won't understand much.
