DXF Drawing

Hello
I'd like to know if there is a way to define the holes of a part with a layer to be engraved in a drawing?
When I change the layer of my function on the drawing view, it assigns the layer to the whole room.
Do you have a solution?
Thank you in advance for your answers

Hello;

… It's not very clear...
A tracing paper cannot be engraved.
and a build function can't have a specific layer. (not to the knowledge in any case).
What exactly do you want to do:

  1. That your piercings are on a layer (color/stroke type) different from the general layer (often "0" or "strong strokes"...)?
  2. Add engravings (text)?
  3. Add annotations?

    An example will be welcome...

Kind regards.

Hello
I want to make my piercings appear on a different layer than the general one.

Example: I'd like my holes to appear in my first layer in red without the outline of layer 2.

Hello;
Are you on draftsight?
Apart from a manual selection of your holes to modify their layer or a programming (lips or vba), I don't have any other proposals.

Kind regards.

No, I'm on a Solidworks drawing that I then save in DXF that I open on eDrawings.
