I come to ask for your help because I would like to identify the description of the routing element in a drawing. When I select my element in the drawing, I have the routing ref (virtual element) going up and not the name of my routing assembly.
Hello @A.R . If precisely, when I point to the stroke of the drawing, it points to the virtual element that goes up with this extended name. Personally, I would like to have the name of the routing assembly containing the virtual element(s). I can't see myself saving the virtual elements one by one locally knowing that I have an entire factory made. Maybe it would be possible to enter a formula that would allow me to use the current k parameter by saying to delete everything before the "^".
For my part, virtual elements should be avoided... In this 3D element removes its virtuality, and fills in the desired description in the desired property, there is its designation, be careful if it has configurations in this model, it can play on the models...
So in your layout hide your views or and the elements you don't need, you only leave the view where your routing element is located. So, in your MEP then points to the routing and add your description "property (designation) for example" which should display correctly.
Then bring up all the other views and other hidden elements. It should even be done for a while, but I don't see anything else.
Keep me informed. (between us the virtual elements to avoid if you have the choice).
