Modele nomenclature

Hello

Is it possible to choose the default BOM template?

In fact, I do the mep of an assembly where there are 2 configurations (see more depending on the device).

I copied the mep of the first conf, and just modified the conf to point to.

Same for the nomenclature, I choose the conf to point to, it goes correctly. But, sw changes the nomenclature model. It always chooses the same one, but I can't find or specify the location of the default BOM template (I just have the path).

For the moment, I'm removing the nomenclature and redoing it with the right model.

If you have an idea... Thank you in advance. I must have missed an option somewhere...

Do you have only one .sldbomtbt file in the directory specified in Tools/Options/File Locations/BOM Templates?

Open the default BOM, edit it as desired, and save it.

The next time, it will load as you saved it.

@benoit.if: no, I have the standard tables + the modified one (top of the list).

I tried by moving it into this directory.

and in the options/name location: I only put this directory.  (default when installing) to see what it looks like. but nothing changes.

Hello

You must indeed memorize in the general options the location of the "BOM templates" files in order to point to the directory where you have saved the modified table.

Then in your drawing, you choose this table model.

Subsequently, this template will already be selected if you have saved it in your drawing document template.

Kind regards

If you only need one as an assembly BOM ("ENS-2 model BOM" in this case), put it in a separate folder and redirect the file location.

For my part, this kind of file is on the server so that the whole company has the same one.

And in the kind of trick, name this folder as requested in Tools/Options/File Location, in this case "BOM templates". It avoids having to look for a new configuration afterwards.

It's a @flegendre method that is just perfect for use !!

@benoit.IF: The modified BOM is normally in a specific PRE. But as sw was in charge of another one, I tested by putting it in the original rep.

In fact, SW keeps the last one saved as a model and not the one put in the MEP model.

Thank you for your answers and have a good day.
