Since the SW23 to SW24 migration, it is no longer possible to modify an attachment point of a dimension in a drawing without right-clicking and " attaching " or even deleting the dimension and starting over. The " reattach " option is very practical when the dimensions are wobbly but when you just want to move a tie line... it's a long hair... Anyone know of a parameter to move an attachment point on SW24 please?
Solidworks 2024 is still immature to this day (sp2 max?) … and it is not recommended to install versions prior to SP4... Regarding your problem, as this is a new feature of Solidworks, it is probably full of bugs... and unfortunately I have nothing to offer as an alternative. … When I think that this option is one of the " TOP " new features of Solidworks 2024...
Thank you for this feedback... The option itself is handy for wobbly ribs... It stops there Usually I upgrade SW a year late to wait for SP5 but here I had no choice but to switch to it... I'm going to be patient. Thank you anyway.
