Changing the Radius on an Imported Part

Hi all

I am asking for your help because I am struggling with the modification of this part.

I need to change the radius from 0.5 to 0.3; I tried to remove the radius from the entire length as well as the one from the puncture. Unfortunately it doesn't work.

So I tried to create an extrusion with the radius of 0.3 along the entire length of the part but I also can't connect the radii of the puncture with my radius of 0.3.

If you have a solution to help me, I'm all for it!

Hello

To change your radius, here is a technique :

  • 1 Use the " Delete face" option to fill in the gaps
    2 Pass the radius of the holes
    3 Make 0.3 radius

When the faces are too complex, the option  to fill in the discontinuities does not work, in this case you have to remove the faces and then rebuild them by extending the surfaces to the corners, and finally pass the fillets.

Thanks also Pierre, I had tried to extend the surfaces to the corners but I had to do it wrong.

I'll try again by following your steps, I'll be ready for next time.
