Edit Draftsight hatching

Hello

I'm used to working with Autocad, but I recently had to switch to a workstation equipped with draftsight.

When making changes in my drawings (landscaping), I used to modify my hatching by simply selecting the different terminals and moving them (on Autocad). Is there a similar system to enable on DraftSight? If not, how do you manage to modify your hatching?

Hello

As I indicated in the link above:

These are .pat files

You have to add the location of the files (the folder that contains the .pat) in

"Tools > Options > File Location > System > Support File Search Path"

No, this post was not really useful, nor was the explanatory video of the last message.

I'm looking for a simple and effective way to change the shape of hatching in DraftSight. I've already tried to do this by recreating the outline, but it's as time-consuming and tedious as recreating a new hatch of the right shape.

EDIT: I don't understand the connection with .pat files, can they configure the program to display the hatching outline I'm used to on Autocad?

Hello

As you can see in the video, the only way to handle hatching in DraftSight is through a region. Can you upload a drawing made with AutoCAD as an attachment to see exactly how hatching behaves in DraftSight?

Is it the latest version of DraftSight that is installed?
