Hi all
I would like to know if it is possible, under Solidworks, to modify the pointer like the one in Autocad, i.e. the cross that moves in X and Y?
Thank you in advance

Hello
Not to my knowledge since unlike Autocad where you are "limited" on a plan, on SW, it is possible to navigate in 3D even on a 2D sketch.
So not too much interest anymore..
However, it is possible to change the plane on a 3D sketch with the Tab key.
This allows you to draw on 3 different planes in the same sketch.
Good luck
Hello
I don't think it's possible under SW.
On the other hand, by going through the windows control panel it is possible
Hello
A priori it's not possible, but they still talk about the AutoCAD command emulator in SolidWorks that should be activated here:
http://help.solidworks.com/2014/french/SolidWorks/sldworks/c_Command_Line.htm
Or change the mouse pointer in the Windows options (control panel, mouse) but you will have to use this type of pointer all the time in Windows.
For the SolidWorks 2D Emulator it is only available in the 32 bit version of Solidworks ... few users are still on a 32 bit OS, and in terms of comfort of use it's not ideal, I'll lean more towards the other solution that has been proposed by the previous posts, i.e. the modification of the pointer directly in Windows
