Hi all
I try to create a tap to my pipes but without adding an accessory at the end, how do I do it?
If I delete the accessory, the routing section loses the properties that are related to that accessory.
Thank you,
Aurélien

I add that I had a hope by right-clicking on the tap and then "Create a custom configuration of the pipe", I was able to remove the accessory and keep the pipe but it disappears when I re-edit the routing...
It is absolutely necessary that there be a room (even an empty one).
So create an accessory without a volume body inside. Just a sketch to position
Hello Max59, thank you for your answer.
What should the sketch contain in this case? Because my tube will take on the properties of my accessory, right? In this case, do I need to have an accessory without a volume body for each tube designation in my library?
A silly question, but if you do it like you already did and then you do a removal of matter or a removal of a body it doesn't work??? I don't know about routing but a solution proposal can always help...
Hi @ Aurelien
See this tutorial at the 35 minutes

He talks about the creation of stitching
It's super simple

@Manu, thank you but the piping is done in assembly and not in parts like the metal structure, we cannot remove bodies but only the parts
@GT22, thank you but it is not about the creation of a stitching without accessories at the end
nothing prevents you if necessary
to create tube sections for you as an accessory
to define the tube section of your tap
since it is precisely this accessory that defines the cross-section of the tube
It is true that there are few occasions to leave a tube without a connection
(thread, sleeve, flange, etc......)
It's up to you to see and test this a way to divert the blocks from the log

Oh yes to the core! The GT :) is not stupid!
With us it is very common to leave a tube without accessories because we deliver it to the customer (with a protection for plugging) and the customer makes its connection directly by welding
So if you come with a protective plastic cap as an accessory
Why not create these protective caps by creating the routing and connection points
You will have your exact length of the tube as well as the desired section and your cap in your list
@+
Yes and no, these caps are made just before shipping, they are simple protections that are adjusted in the workshop on diameters ranging from 88.9 to 800 mm!
So good idea but not :).
Tomorrow I'm testing the possibility of creating components without volume with all my tube dimensions ;)!
