Hello everyone, I take the liberty of coming to the community for a question because I took the time to look for a moment before.
With Solidworks My CAD, the Sheet Metal module offers to apply quantities to the selected part
However, when I add several of them, the module always considers quantity 1 even if I have entered a different quantity in the properties of the file.
For example, when it generates the dwgs , it indicates the quantity 1 even if I have 6 for example . By the way it forces me to modify the quantities in the DWG myself
I would like the module to apply the quantities of the room itself I think you have to go through smart properties, but I block a little.
If anyone has already found the shutter to add or if there is another method it would be nice to inform me
thank you in advance
I don't use this utility but from what I understand if you open an assembly in solidworks and in SheetMetalManufacturing you have a button retrieve the active document and the utility takes care of finding all the sheet metal parts of the assembly and counting the quantities of each in this assembly.
So there is no need in theory to force this quantity. The utility takes care of the quantities itself
The only thing that can be modified at the bottom is a quantity multiplier (if you want to run 2x or more of the recovered assembly.)
If it doesn't work, it's probably a bug and you should open a ticket with the hotline

Hello
Indeed , the "forced" quantity in the document properties is not taken into account in the quantities of SheetMetalManufacturing.
