I have a mechanically welded assembly in part file (metal frame)
I created an assembly of them and added elements such as plates, gussets etc...
Now I would like, in a PEM, to isolate certain elements to show only them and to be able to quote clearly
The problem is that some elements are part of the part file and others of the SLDASM file.
Apart from right-clicking on the view and "hiding" properties/showing bodies and components", I don't see any way to go faster. Because there it is long and tedious to hide everything that is not used.
Even isolating the parts in the 3D doesn't work because all the SLDPRT remains displayed....
Is the goal to score on the same view several elements that belong to the ASM and the PRT or simply to a PRT? In the first case, I only see by juggling configurations but I'm not sure of saving time. In the second case, you can add views of several models on a drawing and in the case of the mechanically welded, choose only the body(s) you are interested in via the button at the top in the feature manager.
the goal is to dimension several elements belonging to the parts file AND to the assembly. I thought about the display states, but tedious, I thought that a relative view model applied to some components would work, but it only works in a part file.
Yes hello, no problem you have to start the table of elements by mechanically welding the module and then choose relative view in the pictograms not always active in your settings, have a good day. You are sent back to your 3d model and choose a body the only scam or not and orientation but you can project a relative view.
