Hello

my room A is made up of several parts (A=B+C+D).

in the configurations, I have a configuration where I make the components (B, C and D) appear and one where I make A appear. To do this, in the configuration property I select hidden or shown.

I want to add to my assembly a part E that will always appear when composing. So I want to have 2 configurations with the following nomenclature detail:

- component: B, C, D, E

- subset: A, E

 

Is this possible? How to implement it?

I guess you mean "my subset A", because a part can also have several derivative parts;)

I also conclude that your nomenclature is set to (part only),

In this case, in order to display subset A as a part, the configuration must be set to cache, so it is not possible to display component E.

On the other hand, if you change your BOM to (first level)*1:

To display BCDE you will have to set the configuration to Promote,

To display AE will have to set the configuration to show and exclude the BCD components (right-click on component >exclude from the BOM)
