I know that there are already a lot of topics on nomenclatures, but I can't find an answer. I am using SW2019, I need a detailed bill of materials down to the part. Everything is good except that I can't hide the welded parts bodies, the option has no effect, whether checked or unchecked! I'm sure that I have welded bodies that appear because when I combine the bodies of a piece, I see the lines disappear.
I tried to use SmartBom, it works but I can't sort the bill of materials by reference of the first level while keeping the detail of the sub-assembly in the lines below!
So if you have other ways of doing things or have already encountered this bug, I'm interested
By the way, in a SW nomenclature, if someone knows how to add a column with the full name of the file (folder path + file name) I'm interested!
Unfortunately, I cannot provide you with the files. If necessary, I could recreate a typical example. Thank you Hoping I didn't create a redundant Topic.
Hello iPoilz, So try to delete your welded part list, and remove the bodies you don't want to have in your nomenclature, and reform your welded part list and delete
I think the solution is to create the 2 columns with this information and then create a 3rd column that merges. Hoping SW agrees to work with columns of text...
They also don't appear in my nomenclature with the option without the welded mechanics. So it's probably a bug due to the non-update.
Well that said, it's a lot of parts to correct, so in the meantime we found another solution. The objective is to have a nomenclature on Excel, so we simply sort on excel after the export to remove all the empty boxes that correspond to the buggy bodies.
Thanks stefbeno, I'll look on occasion to merge columns.
Oh no, I said something stupid, update problem. As soon as there are mechanically welded bodies, they appear in the nomenclature despite the option unchecked. In short, hoping that it has been corrected in the versions after 2019.
