How to have another choice of BOM  configuration in a welded mechanic. 

Default configuration: "Defect<Weld Stock>" (See image)

By renaming it?

"Configuration" tab, right-click on the config then property and rename.

If you only have a "Defect" configuration, it's normal with the mechanically welded feature you can only make a list table welded in the "Weld Blank" state

(Sw you have created a "Rough Machine" and "Weld Blank") config.

 

If you add a configuration to your Menanowelded part, you will see SolidWorks will recreate 2 new configurations "Weld Blank" and "Machining Blank". In this case you can change the configuration.

Hello

 

When you request a welded part list on a drawing, it uses the active configuration of your view and therefore only offers you to change the subconfiguration (weld stock or machining stock).

So if you really have other configs of your welded mechanic, change the config of your drawing view from which you request your list of welded parts.
