Hello

Not a very easy question.
Looking in the help, we often find ASME as the standard
In reality, SW is aimed at the world and therefore at all standards: ISO, BSI, GB, IS...

Eurocode 0 and 1 describe the basics of calculations for all materials combined as well as the actions to be applied to them: wind, snow, dead loads, etc.
These two Eurocodes therefore make it possible to find the forces in the members and at the nodes.
Then, there is a Eurocode by material or construction principle to interpret the results and validate the design.
Eurocode 2 concrete
Eurocode 3 Steel
Eurocode 4 Mixed Steel-Concrete
Eurocode 5 wood
Eurocode 6 Masonry
Eurocode 7 geotechnical design (foundations)
Eurocode 8 earthquake
Eurocode 9 Aluminium
Regarding grades, HLE steels can be used with some limitations. There is a chapter of Eurocode 3 dedicated to its HLE steels. Bearing in mind that in the building industry, the sizing factor is often the deflection and not the constraint. So HLE steels don't bring much since they have the same Young's modulus.
Moreover, HLE steels are quite restrictive in terms of implementation, welds tend to crack if the welding parameters are not respected.
As specified in the Eurocode its regulatory standards according to usage (in general for the building)
SolidWorks Simulation Pro or Express only does the calculations requested
and it is according to these calculations that it does or does not fit into the norms

Hi all.
Thank you for your feedback, which perfectly answers my questions.
Kind regards
@ Alex MXN
All that remains is to select the best answer
since it corresponds to the demand according to your words
Have a nice day
