New CAD forum: test it and give us your feedback!

Hello @Sylk

I don't believe it
Well, you have bionic eyes with night light amplifier and built-in 10,000x zoom
To see this little cross.

Kind regards

By the way! Thanks to the team for making the number of "views" of the topics visible! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:
It was an option whose rehabilitation was in high demand from the first day of this version of the forum, so it deserves to be welcomed when it is.

In the follow-up options, would it be possible to have a daily summary rather than an email per reply, in the case of a very active subject, we would almost be scared

@Coralie it seems that the number of characters for code is limited, see this topic as an example, the site cuts the code in an archaic way.

Edit: here is the link to the forgotten topic:

Oh yes indeed, I pass it on to the technical teams! Thank you for the feedback :facepunch:

I just came across a duplicate (without answers in one of the 2) I wanted to delete it but it seems that we can't. Would it be possible to have a basket in which our deletions would go? The topics there can then be double-checked before emptying the trash.

Edit: For now, instead I'm closing the topic and making it invisible.

it is always possible, at first, to close the subject and change it to "Non-visible"

Hi all

You will now find on the forum the possibility to search by topic " solved " and " unsolved "

hello @Coralie

I have the impression that some sections allowing you to acquire XP are not active
Example Tutorials, people followed and possibly.

It should just be specified somewhere that XP points are acquired since such and such a date and not since you are registered on the forum, otherwise it's ambiguous
See the number of correct answers

Kind regards

Hello @Zozo_mp
The thing is that you can only accumulate points if you are registered, it's implied, so mentioning it is useless. As for the date, well, it's necessarily the one indicated, so there's no need to specify as well.
Unless you want it to be an acquisition date for xp that you only earn once?

Hi @Sylk

example on my account = 2 correct answers (while I don't have much more)
That's why I've been saying since then that there is the new forum (a certain date).
The two new correct answers must have been acquired since the new forum was set up.

PS: it's to update the Mini user manual :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Yes, some stats started from 0 with this version.
But I think there is a way to get them recredited (add our old stats to the new ones). @eliott.metra , @fchosson if you hear me :innocent:

Subsidiary question: will this affect the total number acquired or not?

The stats don't come out of nowhere

I see everything at the bottom of the page "points earned previously"

If I follow a reasoning, it would rather mean that when you go to a higher level, everything resets to zero, except of course the sum of the points acquired previously.

Maybe they didn't have the details of the points acquired before the software change or they couldn't (or didn't want) to get it back.
No big deal! The key is to know the rules and that you can indicate them in the Mini Tutorial.

To pluche

No, the previous points included Lynkoa's from the start, even before we had earned 1 point here. That's why we had a (relatively) high xp level from the beginning.

Hi all
The goal was not to reduce your points when passing the new forum, I think that some xp points are going up badly, I'm looking with our technical teams!

Hello Coralie,
Is it possible to have the " Back " button permanently displayed, when scrolling through the questions and answers?. (See attached screenshots.

Hello @A.R , it's noted, I reported it to the technical teams

Hello;
@A.A clicking on the MyCad logo already does the job...

Kind regards.

In fact, the real problem is not that the feedback is not always visible, because as @Maclane says the Home logo does the job, but rather that it has the same function as this logo! It should come back to the previous page, with its url. Currently if I click on return after going through a category (sorted page) and then a message, it sends me back to the home page instead of the category page. It doesn't make sense. :upside_down_face:
Or you have to rename the "back" button to "home" :stuck_out_tongue:

If the choice is a redirection from the management, then yes, it will also have to remain visible.
