I don't know if I'm the only one who " bother" it but would it be possible to have an option like " mark everything as read " to be able to select what you really want to read and be able to skip over the rest without having the unread indicator always active. (it can also be useful in case of return from holidays to be able to quickly switch to reading everything).

Otherwise you click on Not Read and then on VU to display all the unread messages as seen:
