New draftsight hatches

Hello

New to draftsight, I found almost all the autocad features I need for my job, being a landscape designer, I only use a very small percentage of autocad functions.

In short, the biggest problem I encountered is that I can't use all the custom hatching I had installed for autocad (paving, low wall, etc...)

I can't find how to configure them or copy them into a file like for autocad. Is it even possible to do that?

Thank you in advance for your answers.

Hello

These are .pat files that need to be added here:

/home/username/.config/DraftSight/1.2.163/Support/Sample.pat

The best thing to do is to search for the .pat files on your computer, to paste them into the corresponding directory of DraftSight.

Otherwise watch this tutorial http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ENdHF-gcgwU

I just saw that the 1st link procedure is probably outdated.

You have to add the location of the files (the folder that contains the .pat) in

"Tools > Options > File Location > System > Support File Search Path"

See the attached image (it's written in the right part)

Hello, thank you for this quick answer, I will have access to my old PC (on which the .pats are located) again this afternoon, however by looking here:

/home/username/.config/DraftSight/1.2.163/Support/Sample.pat. I see that in support, I only have sample.cus and sample(gif image), do I copy all my .pat directly into the support folder or do I create a sample folder. Then I add the file location in draftsight?

Thank you for the help in any case.

I think you can try copying the files to the folder and if that doesn't work, create a folder and add it to the options.

Yes, it works, thank you again and have a good day
