Objet transparent photo view

Hello everyone,

Small problem in photo view I am making nice renderings however I have a problem with the transparent surfaces in the rendering they look perfectly black while in solidworks they are very transparent whatever the appearance chosen. I'm working on SW 2013 SP5

Anyone have an idea ??

There is an adjustment to be made in terms of your appearance.

Go to your transparent appearance in the tab check the box enabled in photoview, and in the photoview tab, adjust the transparency or opacity setting, I don't know what it's called.

I must pass by impossible to find,

I go to the display manager

then in appearance

I right-click and edit the appearance

I then have 4 tabs and after looking carefully I don't see a "Enabled in Photoview" box

I turn on my set, and I look at this

So, as much for me, I confused it with the lights.

For the glass, set the Transparency Quantity option in the Illumination tab when you edit your appearance.

Then the refractive index option, and finally the refractive irregularity option.

At worst, tick the box "dynamic help" it explains all the options very well.

I just found it's been 10 times that I've been looking for this problem until now I was carefully removing the transparent part, came from the rendering options I had put the number of reflection and refraction to 1 so that the calculations are faster because my renderings must not have shine or reflection so... but by putting them back to 10 the transpanrent surfaces become so again

Thank you for your help!!
