Where to find the puncture tool on solidworks?

Hello

 

I was sent a solidworks plan for a sheet metal part.

There is a Flat Tool V3 feature with a padlock on it. However, this function is not considered blocked.

On the other hand, I can't edit the function of it.

 

How can I edit it? Or if not, where can I find it to recreate it?

Hello

It is a function library created and used by whoever made the piece.

It should be recovered. I invite you to ask the person who provided you with the part, to please send you the library function (LibFeatPartFiles).

In fact, if you look at the end of the function name it has the sign:      -->?

This sign indicates that there is an external reference, i.e., that this function of the part is based on one (or more) (element(s) external to the part.

So you need these elements or edit the external references in order to give another reference (internal to the part)
